Intelligence Functional Badge

Authorized in 1993 and awarded to both officers and enlisted personnel in the intelligence career field. Intelligence duties include: the collection, production, and application of intelligence information; threat recognition training; producing cartographic materials; gathering inputs and information for targeting; and the control, protection and dissemination of sensitive intelligence information.
