Requirements for Basic Flight Surgeon are: the individual must be an officer graduate of the Aerospace Medicine Primary Course or a graduate of similar training conducted by another military service.
Requirements for the Senior Flight Surgeon badge are 7 years total service and 350 flying hours logged as a Flight Surgeon.
Requirements for the Chief Flight Surgeon badge are 15 years of total service and at least 750 flying hours logged as a Flight Surgeon.
