Recognitions, Awards and More is a family owned and operated business located in the small town of Aviston, Illinois. Our storefront opened it's doors in January of 2008 after completing an extensive renovation on the building it was to occupy. But that is not the begining of the story. . .
The story begins years prior with Jeff Morgan, an active duty Air Force Sergeant with a hobby of woodworking. He gets permission from his wife Amelia to buy whatever tools he wants with the money he makes with his "little hobby". Several years and three cross-country moves later, the woodworking hobby has become the successful internet site Morgan House Woodprojects, which sells military shadow boxes and flag displays . The hobby that started out as a way to pay for the expensive tools Jeff wanted had taken over their house and all of Jeff's free time. So, after twenty two years of military service, he decided to retire from the Air Force, and become self-employed. The day after his retirement ceremony, with the help of friends and family, the Morgans began demolition work on the building that was to become Recognitions, Awards and More.
Three months later, the Morgans opened the doors of their new trophy and awards shop "Recognitions, Awards and More". Our commitment and hard work along with the work of our family and friends allowed them to open our store in what many thought record time for people who were "Do It Yourselfers".
Now we enjoy assisting the people of Clinton County with their awards needs as well as offering laser and sublimation services for custom gifts.
